First blog on the recording
Hey All,
We're here.
We've started recording. By the way, thanks for your song suggestions. You all have great taste and it makes us extremely happy to know that you're all such music lovers with brilliant ideas... quite a few of which we're gonna try.
So, it's all going well. The studio is a house... and the house is not quite a studio but that's sort of the point. We're in Athens, NY, very close to the Hudson River actually you should be able to see some photos of the house and the beautiful river views.
We really are getting some great stuff recorded with magician-engineer Hector Castillo and assistant Adam Thompson and we hope to be able to post some of the music but we're still getting the hang of this blog page.
We're also going to start a food blog as we have to mention the incredible meals we've been eating!
We're all crazy about cooking and eating.. so much so that if we keep up with our current menus we'll have to rename the band Rollabelle..
Very special mention to our friends Wendy Wilson, Melinda Cullman and and Anna Bottorf, our fabulous friends who cooked us some of the most delicious meals we've ever eaten, seriously.
Write more later.
Gotta go eat.,, and sing.
Love,
~Ollabelle~

Hey guys! Congratulations on the blog and recording the third record up in Athens! Make sure to keep Tony replete with Gomboz and Canza-Dew.
Question - can you write about what software/hardware you might be using on this project? Tech heads like me wanna know!
See you on the road SOON!!

Hey Ollabelle,
Good luck with the new studio and song selection. Looks like you have a great place to focus and relax abit. I am getting hungry reading about all the good meals. I heard the interview on WNTI the other day...very cool. I am also recording my new CD in a newly built studio. I have some extra equipment. If you are in need, and I have it, it's yours. Also I want you all to know that meeting you and seeing you perform all over, is a great inspiration to me.
Peace to you all and continued success always...
Randy Bigness
Looks like a great environment in which to make some beautiful music---not to mention some delicious sounding food. Perhaps you should invite us all out for a CD launch and dinner party when it's all finished!!
In the meantime, have a lot of fun. Can't wait to hear how it all turns out!

Sounds like your cooking up an Ollabelle, soul stew
Are you working on different vocal.chorus and verse arrangements, with the members, trading off on each other, shaking it up ? Like the bottom, that your working on , R&B Ollabelle, keep it in the pocket,
Peace,
Peter
